So James Roach did an interview and the basic summary is: Hiveswap Act 3 is happening, they just need to do all the assets and programming. WhatPumpkin now only exist to keep Hiveswap development. Hussie says to the team that they can do whatever to the IP because he doesn't care anymore. If this isn't a bleak outlook for the series for both Homestuck and Hiveswap, I don't know what is.
